Nothing goes better together than a fantastic gin cocktail and BC oysters. Well nothing, that is, except for when its ultra-local Vancouver Island Fanny Bay Oysters and made-on-the-shore Copperpenny Distilling Co. Gin.

2024’s first Fanny Bay Oysters x Copperpenny Distilling Co. pop-up lands Sunday April 21st, 2024 – put it in your calendars, this is a don’t-miss moment! Not only will the team from Fanny Bay be shucking three delicious select varieties of oysters fresh in-house, but Copperpenny will also be showcasing our BC Food & Beverage Product of the Year award-winning Gin made using the freshly shucked shells from Fanny Bay – our Copperpenny No. 006 Oyster Shell Gin. This rare gin expression uses BC ocean elements during distillation to create a wonderfully savoury gin with bright citrus notes, ideal for martinis and pairing with seafood. It will challenge your perception of what a contemporary gin can taste like.

Reservations are recommended, but not required (this is not a ticketed event – everyone is welcome!). We do get quite busy for these pop-ups – and usually run out of oysters by evening, so make sure to get here in time to get your dozen!
