French 75 Rosé
The French 75 sits somewhere between a classic gin sour and a glass of bubbles—which makes it very difficult not to like.
Our rosé version pairs Copperpenny No. 005 Social Gin with fresh lemon and a touch of simple syrup, then tops it all with chilled rosé Prosecco. The bubbles lift the gin’s botanicals while the rosé brings soft berry and floral notes to the glass.
Bright, crisp and celebratory without needing an occasion.

Method
Chill a coupe glass before you begin.
Add the Social Gin, fresh lemon juice and simple syrup to a shaker filled with ice. Shake firmly for approximately 10 seconds, until well chilled.
Double-strain into the chilled coupe.
Slowly top with 2–3 oz (60–90 mL) chilled rosé Prosecco, allowing the bubbles to settle as you pour.
Finish with an edible rose bud.
Copperpenny Tip
Keep the bubbles cold.
Sparkling wine holds its carbonation best when properly chilled, so keep the bottle in the fridge until the moment you need it.
Add it after shaking and pour gently down the side of the glass. No vigorous stirring required—the bubbles will do plenty of the mixing for you.
Garnish
Use only food-grade edible rose buds intended for culinary use.
If you don’t have them, a thin lemon twist is a simple alternative that works beautifully with both the gin and sparkling wine.
