Black Current
Juicy blackberry meets the savoury, coastal character of Copperpenny No. 006 Oyster Shell Gin in this bright, herbaceous sour.
Fresh lemon keeps everything lively, while rosemary syrup brings a subtle woodsy note that plays beautifully with the gin’s mineral character. Blackberry adds ripe fruit and just enough sweetness without turning the drink into a berry bomb.
Fresh, vibrant and a little unexpected—exactly where No. 006 likes to be.

| GARNISH | Fresh Blackberrier |
| PROCESS | Shaken |
Method
Add the Oyster Shell Gin, fresh lemon juice, rosemary syrup and blackberry syrup to a shaker.
Fill generously with ice and shake firmly for approximately 10–12 seconds, until thoroughly chilled.
Pour the entire contents of the shaker—cocktail and ice—directly into a stemless wine glass.
Garnish with two fresh blackberries on a cocktail pick and a fresh sage leaf.
Stir the sugar into the hot water until completely dissolved. Add the rosemary and allow it to steep for approximately 15 minutes.
Remove the rosemary, cool completely and refrigerate in a sealed container.
Copperpenny Tip
Sometimes you want the dirty dump.
Most shaken cocktails are strained over fresh ice, but here we pour everything from the shaker straight into the glass.
It’s faster, keeps all that beautifully chilled ice and gives the drink a relaxed, slightly rustic presentation that suits all those fresh berry and herbal flavours.
Just make sure you start with good, clean ice—it’s coming along for the ride.
